{"id":5349,"date":"2026-09-08T12:40:17","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T10:40:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmaservices.be\/?post_type=vacatures&#038;p=5349"},"modified":"2026-09-08T12:40:17","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T10:40:17","slug":"ei-quality-inspector","status":"publish","type":"vacatures","link":"https:\/\/fmaservices.be\/en\/vacatures\/ei-quality-inspector\/","title":{"rendered":"E&#038;I Quality Inspector"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>E&#038;I Quality Inspector<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Belgium<\/p>\n<p><strong>Company:<\/strong> FMA Services<\/p>\n<p><strong>Department:<\/strong> Quality<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:<\/strong> Industrial construction &#038; pre-commissioning<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shift:<\/strong> According to project planning<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desired start:<\/strong> October 12, 2026<\/p>\n<h2>About the Position<\/h2>\n<p>For the quality follow-up of E&#038;I installation and handover, we are looking for <strong>multiple E&#038;I Quality Inspectors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You perform inspections on site, check test and quality documentation, and ensure that installations demonstrably comply with drawings, specifications, ITPs, and applicable standards.<\/p>\n<h2>Your Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Performing inspections on electrical and instrumentation installations in accordance with ITPs and approved drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Checking cable tray, supports, cable installation, gland\/termination, earthing, junction boxes, instruments, and hook-ups.<\/li>\n<li>Verifying continuity\/insulation test records, calibration certificates, torque records, and other quality documents.<\/li>\n<li>Assessing installation workmanship and checking ATEX\/Ex details where applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and following up on inspection reports, RFIs, punch items, observations, and NCRs.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating hold\/witness points with client, contractor, and relevant project disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Checking redlines, as-built input, and completion dossiers before handover.<\/li>\n<li>Following up on corrective actions and confirming that deviations are correctly resolved and documented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Your Profile<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience as an E&#038;I QA\/QC Inspector, Electrical Inspector, or Instrument Inspector in the process industry or heavy industry.<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of E&#038;I installation practices and technical documentation such as wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, cable schedules, and hook-ups.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of AREI and ATEX\/IEC 60079 is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with ITPs, NCR processes, test packs, and turnover dossiers.<\/li>\n<li>You are independent, accurate, and strong in technical communication with contractors and supervisors.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of English; Dutch is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Education &#038; experience<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\/TSO in electricity, instrumentation, or electromechanics<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong> Minimum 5 years in E&#038;I QA\/QC or inspection<\/p>\n<h2>Certificates &#038; site requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>VCA-VOL or VCA-basis depending on project requirements.<\/li>\n<li>BA5 is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<li>ATEX\/IEC 60079 training or demonstrable Ex-inspection experience is a significant asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Core competencies<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>E&#038;I inspection<\/li>\n<li>ITP \/ RFI<\/li>\n<li>NCR management<\/li>\n<li>ATEX \/ AREI<\/li>\n<li>Test records<\/li>\n<li>Turnover dossiers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What you can expect<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A technically challenging assignment within a large-scale industrial project environment.<\/li>\n<li>A professional work environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, planning, and collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Clear responsibilities, short lines of communication, and a direct impact on project progress.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration with experienced construction, engineering, quality, HSE, and commissioning teams.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to participate in an intensive project acceleration phase with clear milestones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Interested?<\/h2>\n<p>Please provide us with your most recent CV, availability, and relevant certificates.
