{"id":5391,"date":"2026-09-08T12:40:16","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T10:40:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmaservices.be\/?post_type=vacatures&#038;p=5391"},"modified":"2026-09-08T12:40:16","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T10:40:16","slug":"ei-work-preparator","status":"publish","type":"vacatures","link":"https:\/\/fmaservices.be\/en\/vacatures\/ei-work-preparator\/","title":{"rendered":"E&#038;I Work Preparator"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>E&#038;I Work Preparator<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Belgium<\/p>\n<p><strong>Company:<\/strong> FMA Services<\/p>\n<p><strong>Department:<\/strong> Construction<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:<\/strong> Industrial construction &#038; pre-commissioning<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shift:<\/strong> 1st shift<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desired start:<\/strong> October 12, 2026<\/p>\n<h2>About the Position<\/h2>\n<p>We are looking for <strong>several experienced E&#038;I Work Preparators<\/strong> for the preparation of E&#038;I construction work fronts.<\/p>\n<p>You ensure that activities are executable before they reach the field teams: technically correct, safe, fully documented, and without avoidable constraints.<\/p>\n<h2>Your Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing and managing E&#038;I work packages including scope, drawings, procedures, ITPs, checklists, and material lists.<\/li>\n<li>Checking IFC documentation such as layouts, cable schedules, loop diagrams, hook-ups, wiring\/termination diagrams, and datasheets.<\/li>\n<li>Verifying material availability, tools, access\/scaffolding, permits, and required resources before the start of execution.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and following up on MTOs, material requests, technical queries, and field change requests.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with engineering, procurement, QA\/QC, HSE, planning, and construction supervisors.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and removing constraints so that work fronts are delivered construction-ready.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining redlines, as-built input, and the status of work packages during execution.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting turnover to pre-commissioning and mechanical completion with accurate dossiers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Your Profile<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience as an E&#038;I Work Preparator, Technical Coordinator, or in a similar role within the process or heavy industry.<\/li>\n<li>Good technical knowledge of electricity and instrumentation and proficiency in reading E&#038;I documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with AutoCAD\/EPLAN is an advantage; more importantly, you can independently interpret and check technical documents.<\/li>\n<li>Practical site experience and insight into constructability, sequencing, and material flows.<\/li>\n<li>You are highly organized, proactive, and strong in following up on outstanding actions.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of English; Dutch is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Education &#038; experience<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\/TSO electricity, electromechanics, or instrumentation<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong> Minimum of 4 years in E&#038;I work preparation<\/p>\n<h2>Certificates &#038; site requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>VCA-VOL is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<li>BA5 and ATEX\/IEC 60079 knowledge are clear advantages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Core competencies<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Work packs<\/li>\n<li>E&#038;I documentation<\/li>\n<li>Material readiness<\/li>\n<li>Constructability<\/li>\n<li>Constraint management<\/li>\n<li>Turnover support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What you can expect<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A technically challenging assignment within a large-scale industrial project environment.<\/li>\n<li>A professional work environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, planning, and collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Clear responsibilities, short lines of communication, and a direct impact on project progress.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration with experienced construction, engineering, quality, HSE, and commissioning teams.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to participate in an intensive project acceleration phase with clear milestones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Interested?<\/h2>\n<p>Please provide us with your most recent CV, availability, and relevant certificates.
