{"id":5399,"date":"2026-09-08T12:40:16","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T10:40:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmaservices.be\/?post_type=vacatures&#038;p=5399"},"modified":"2026-09-08T12:40:16","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T10:40:16","slug":"production-planner","status":"publish","type":"vacatures","link":"https:\/\/fmaservices.be\/en\/vacatures\/production-planner\/","title":{"rendered":"Production Planner"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Production Planner<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Belgium<\/p>\n<p><strong>Company:<\/strong> FMA Services<\/p>\n<p><strong>Department:<\/strong> Planning \/ Construction<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:<\/strong> Industrial construction &#038; pre-commissioning<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shift:<\/strong> 1st shift<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desired start:<\/strong> October 12, 2026<\/p>\n<h2>About the Position<\/h2>\n<p>To strengthen our Project Acceleration Team, we are looking for <strong>multiple Production Planners<\/strong> who can translate daily and weekly execution into a feasible, measurable, and action-oriented schedule.<\/p>\n<p>The focus lies on construction progress, short-term planning, and recovery during an intensive acceleration phase.<\/p>\n<h2>Your Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing and maintaining detailed schedules, 2\/3-week look-aheads, and daily production plans.<\/li>\n<li>Integrating actual progress from the site and analyzing deviations against baseline and targets.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying critical\/near-critical activities, bottlenecks, constraints, and potential schedule impacts.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting resource loading, manpower forecasting, and productivity analyses.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing progress curves, S-curves, dashboards, and planning reports for management.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating planning and coordination meetings with construction, engineering, procurement, and pre-commissioning.<\/li>\n<li>Developing recovery scenarios and acceleration actions when progress falls behind.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring consistent progress measurement and correct status data per work package or area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Your Profile<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience as a Planner, Construction Planner, or Production Planner within large-scale industrial projects.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of Primavera P6 is highly desirable; MS Project or similar planning tools are an asset.<\/li>\n<li>You understand construction sequencing, work fronts, progress measurement, and the link between engineering, materials, and execution.<\/li>\n<li>You have strong analytical skills and are able to translate planning data into practical actions on site.<\/li>\n<li>Good Excel skills and experience with dashboards\/reporting are desired.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent knowledge of English; Dutch is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Education &#038; experience<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\/Master in engineering, construction, or equivalent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong> Minimum 4-6 years of planning experience<\/p>\n<h2>Certificates &#038; site requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>VCA-basis or VCA-VOL depending on site responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with EPC\/industrial construction is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Core competencies<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Primavera P6<\/li>\n<li>Look-ahead planning<\/li>\n<li>Progress measurement<\/li>\n<li>Recovery planning<\/li>\n<li>S-curves<\/li>\n<li>Field coordination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What you can expect<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A technically challenging assignment within a large-scale industrial project environment.<\/li>\n<li>A professional work environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, planning, and collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Clear responsibilities, short lines of communication, and a direct impact on project progress.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration with experienced construction, engineering, quality, HSE, and commissioning teams.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to participate in an intensive project acceleration phase with clear milestones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Interested?<\/h2>\n<p>Please provide us with your most recent CV, availability, and relevant certificates.
