Port of Antwerp<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work environment:<\/strong> Industrial maintenance environment<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contract:<\/strong> Negotiable (freelance or permanent employment)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desired start:<\/strong> By mutual agreement<\/p>\n<h2>About the Position<\/h2>\n<p>To strengthen our technical teams, FMA Services is looking for an experienced <strong>Instrumentation and Control Technician \/ Instrumentation Technician<\/strong> for long-term assignments within industrial maintenance services in the Limburg region and the Port of Antwerp.<\/p>\n<p>You will work in a technical maintenance environment where reliability, safety, and quality are central, and where you will be responsible for the proper functioning of critical instrumentation and control installations.<\/p>\n<h2>Your Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and control installations<\/li>\n<li>Calibrating, testing, and maintaining industrial measuring instruments<\/li>\n<li>Performing fault analysis and troubleshooting<\/li>\n<li>Detecting and resolving defects in instrumentation and control loops<\/li>\n<li>Checking and testing pressure, temperature, level, and flow measurements<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance and inspection of transmitters, switches, sensors, and control valves<\/li>\n<li>Performing loop checks and functional tests<\/li>\n<li>Checking analog and digital signals<\/li>\n<li>Working with HART communication and industrial calibration equipment<\/li>\n<li>Interpreting P&#038;IDs, loop diagrams, data sheets, and electrical\/instrumentation diagrams<\/li>\n<li>Recording and reporting performed maintenance and calibration work<\/li>\n<li>Supporting shutdowns, modifications, and smaller projects where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Safely performing work according to the applicable procedures of FMA Services and our client<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Your Profile<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical education in instrumentation and control technology, instrumentation, electromechanics, electricity, or automation<\/li>\n<li>Experience as an Instrumentation and Control Technician, Instrumentation Technician, or E&#038;I Technician.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with industrial process instrumentation<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of calibration and measurement equipment<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instrumentation<\/li>\n<li>Experience with troubleshooting<\/li>\n<li>The ability to read technical diagrams and P&#038;IDs<\/li>\n<li>A strong safety awareness<\/li>\n<li>An independent, accurate, and solution-oriented way of working<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience within petrochemistry, chemistry, process industry, utilities, or other industrial maintenance environments is a strong asset.<\/p>\n<h2>Education &#038; experience<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong> Technical education in instrumentation and control technology, instrumentation, electromechanics, or equivalent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong> Relevant experience as an Instrumentation and Control Technician or Instrumentation Technician within an industrial environment<\/p>\n<h2>Core competencies<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Instrumentation &#038;
