About the Position

For a large-scale industrial project, we are looking for several experienced E&I Construction Supervisors to lead electrical and instrumentation works safely, qualitatively, and according to schedule.

You are present in the field daily and serve as the operational point of contact for contractors, engineering, QA/QC, planning, and HSE.

Your Responsibilities

  • Daily supervision of E&I construction activities such as cable tray, cable pulling, gland & termination, earthing, instrument installation, junction boxes, and field connections.
  • Coordinating and monitoring contractors and execution teams regarding manpower, productivity, quality, safety, and planning.
  • Checking execution against IFC drawings, hook-ups, layouts, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and project specifications.
  • Organizing work fronts and ensuring that materials, drawings, scaffolding, permits, and tools are available on time.
  • Following up on RFIs, field changes, redlines, technical queries, punch items, and outstanding constraints.
  • Collaborating with QA/QC during inspections, ITP hold/witness points, test records, and handover to pre-commissioning.
  • Monitoring ATEX, AREI, and site-specific requirements during installation and completion.
  • Reporting daily progress, issues, risks, and required recovery actions to Construction Management.

Your Profile

  • Demonstrable experience as an E&I Supervisor, Construction Supervisor, or in a similar role within petrochemicals, chemicals, energy, oil & gas, or heavy industry.
  • Practical knowledge of electrical installations and instrumentation; you understand both field execution and technical documentation.
  • Experience with contractor management, permit-to-work, LMRA, toolbox meetings, and multidisciplinary site coordination.
  • You are decisive, visible on-site, and strong in organizing multiple work fronts simultaneously.
  • Good knowledge of English; Dutch is a distinct asset. Other European languages are welcome.
  • Willingness to work in a 1st or 2nd shift according to project planning.

Education & experience

Education: Bachelor/Technical Secondary Education (TSO) in electricity, electromechanics, or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 5 years of industrial E&I experience

Certificates & site requirements

  • VCA-VOL required or an equivalent project-accepted safety certificate.
  • BA5 is highly desired for electrical supervisory activities.
  • ATEX/IEC 60079 knowledge or training is a significant asset.
